Powerful & Restorative Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Having practiced Vinyasa Flow yoga for over 20 years, it is my chosen core practice. I chose to train in it initially whilst living in Scotland, at a very stressful time in my life. Yoga had such a profound impact on me that I decided to share my love of the restorative powers of yoga with others. I haven’t left a session yet without feeling clear-minded, invigorated and a lot better for it; this is what I aim to replicate for my clients.

The term “Vinyasa” is derived from the word “Nyasa”, meaning “to place”, and “vi” meaning “in a special way”. A more flexible and creative form of yoga than perhaps other traditions, Vinyasa Flow focuses on fluidity of sequence, where one movement flows seamlessly to the next. There’s a beneficial progression throughout the session building upon your stretches, range of movement and mindset.

The many benefits of Vinyasa Flow Yoga
These sequences strengthen, tone and balance the body and mind, working with the breath to bring a mindful quality to each class. Varying from strong and dynamic to gentle and soft, depending on the needs of the students on that day, each class offers something unique.

In Vinyasa Flow yoga, each movement works in synchronisation with a breath, acting as an anchor as you move from one pose to the next.
In a nutshell, some benefits for this particular practice of yoga are:
Endurance and strength training: The poses are performed in quick succession, helping to build muscle strength while improving your fitness

Lowering stress levels and anxiety
Flexible Classes
Suitable for beginners as well as experienced Vinyasa Flow lovers, everyone is welcome within my studio. With a maximum of 20 members per class, I am able to adapt movements and poses to facilitate each student to work at their current capability.

Whether you choose to practice in the morning, afternoon or evening, each class you attend will leave you feeling energised, deeply stretched and revitalised.
